What is TPMS?
TPMS - Tyre Pressure Monitoring System helps you to monitor the tyre pressure in your vehicle
From November 1, 2014, a new EU regulation for the Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is valid for all the newly registered vehicles. (European parliament and Council Regulation (EC) No. 661/2009 from July 13, 2009).
TPMS measures and displays the tyre pressure and temperature. It reacts to a quick and slow decrease of the tyre pressure by an early warning.
Sensors in the wheel monitor the tyre pressure and send signals to the receiver in the vehicle. If the receiver receives information abouth a low tyre
pressure, it automatically warns the driver by activating a warning light. There are two system types. The direct system measures the tyre pressure by a sensor in the wheel, whereas
the indirect system detects the tyre pressure decrease by ABS sensors of the vehicle. In case a tyre pressure decrease occurs in one or more tyres, the driver is warned directly
on the dashboard display of his vehicle.
What are the advantages of TPMS?
Better passenger security
in a vehicle
Thanks to an early warning
of the driver about the tyre pressure decrease
you can prevent
an accident caused by a flat tyre.
Operating costs decrease
If your tyres have
the right pressure, they have
the right rolling resistance, too, and therefore
their wearing-out
slows down.
Better
on-road
performance
Tyres with the right pressure
ensure a perfect
vehicle track which is important
mainly in bends or in
extreme situations.
Positive
effect on the environment
According various researches underinflated
tyres cause
CO2 emission increase by 4.8
million tons a year.
Possible dangers without an operational TPMS
A vehicle without an operational TPMS system or without the system altogether cannot pass the vehicle testing centre tests.
In case of a non-operational TPMS system the driver can face sanctions from the police.
Insurance companies can reduce payments or can deny any insurance payment altogether even in a case of a road accident not caused by you.
TPMS as another margin for your business
Possibility of another margin
Each diagnostic and service operation related to the TPMS allows charging other services and generating an interesting margin. It is only up to the selling points whether and to what extent they wish to make use of it.
A step ahead of your competition
In times when an extensive number of tyre shops cannot or does not wish to deal with this matter in a qualified manner, the purchase of the right TPMS diagnostics together with a set of spare sensors may bring you not only new customers but loyalty strengthening of the current ones that will not find it necessary to contact your competition.
Programmable device CUB Sensor AID
It is a universal multifunctional device used to diagnostics, vehicle communication
and programming of new sensors for both european and american vehicles. It features the most comprehensive and
up-to-date vehicle database which is FREE for life.
The UNI sensor can be programmed directly on the wheel. When changing tyres winter-summer, you can easily“clone” the new sensor according the original TPMS sensors without the need to overwrite the electronic control unit of the vehicle. The easy and intuitive operating guarantees a quick and effective work of the service operators.
Basic parameters
  • Software and database update FREE for life!
  • New sensor programming and cloning
  • One battery charge enough for more than 1 week (30 and more vehicles a day)
  • Long lifespan of the inner sensor battery
  • Communication with your PC via a USB port
  • Possibility to diagnose and program both EU and US vehicles
  • Simple operation thanks to the setting of a brand, model and production year of a vehicle
  • Diagnostic tools for easy control of the current sensors functionality

Supported vehicles
UNI sensors
Our sensors of the CUB brand are compatible with all the original tyre pressure monitoring systems. The sensors cover over 90% of vehicles
with TPMS sensors and they function as original sensors. The operation of a sensor is simple - the air pressure affects the membrane through a tiny
opening. The pressure difference is then transformed into a tension difference. It is communicated through radiowaves into the electronic control unit of the vehicle.
Basic parameters
  • Limitless re-programming
  • Special patent suitable for all alloy and steel wheels
  • Generating an identical copy of an original sensor
  • Easy programming - operational after a few steps
  • Metallic valve just like the original sensor valve
  • No need for an expensive special tool
  • Sleep function - 5-7 year battery lifespan
  • Longer battery lifespan just like with the original sensors
  • Saves warehouse costs because only one universal sensor is necessary
  • Portable wireless programmable device
